A winding entry drive emerges from an existing maintained wooded edge into a newly constructed wildflower meadow. Inland to the main house sits a pool cabana that defines an edge to an outdoor room with pool and spa. Plantings closer to the house and cabana include cultivated versions of the meadow plants, reinforcing the natural, casual feel of the property. The coastal bank was also restored with native beach grass to stabilize the slope and support the ecology of this quiet coastal river.
